Hey ya'll! i hope you are all having a wonderful week! thank God it's Friday!! I went up to my family's cabin last weekend and oh my goodness, it was so hot outside, not realizing that it was going to be as warm as it was because the weather forecast said 20-30% chance of rain so i assumed it was going to be a bit cooler than here in the valley, oh was i seriously wrong. On the plus side of things, it was nice to get out of the valley and enjoy the woods a little bit. 

As far as my update on my keto diet, it has been officially one whole week since i have started this diet, I have lost 2.4 pounds, which is better than nothing in my book. ​I cheated a little on Saturday and had a single scoop of ice cream, but on the plus side of not having much sugar the past week the ice cream was actually not that great, I'm kind of glad that it didnt taste all that great because that will help me in the long run with my cravings because im going to remember that it wasnt that good the last time i ate it. 

I am just about to finish up my 2nd week on keto, im super excited for my weigh in on monday because i have already noticed a difference in my stomach, I don't have as much bloat and I don't feel as tired and heavy! so we will keep our fingers crossed for weigh-in day! 

My goals for this diet is to get back to my goal weight I first got to when I went a super strict diet about a year and a half ago. I was 120 lbs and I felt so amazing and so much more confident in my body! I can't wait! I'm just so excited to get back to it! I've been going to the gym 5 days a week and having my rest days over the weekend, however I try to stay as active as i can. I hope to continue to see results and be able to share with you!!

Over this past weekend I got the chance to celebrate one of my best friend's birthday's, she rented a cabin up in Heber, Arizona and it was seriously the cutest little cabin ever! We got to stay at a cabin that is available to rent! it's call Altitude Adjustment! what I loved about this place is that they fully stocked it out and allowed us to help ourselves as long as we replaced whatever we took. The structure of the cabin is a perfect little A-frame that sleeps up to 8 people. The owners decorated it so perfect, its quaint cabin-chic vibe sets the tone for the best weekend getaway. I definitely think we all got the #AltitudeAdjustment we were needing.

After our little photoshoot we headed on down to the lake to do a little fishing! although we didn't catch anything we did have a lot of fun teaching Cheyenne how to put worms on the fishing hook as bait and cast out a line! we got lots of laughs in as some of those lines caught mostly tree branches instead. I haven't been fishing in quite some time and forgot how much fun it was I can't wait to go on my next fishing trip!

the last stop of this day was up to what seemed to be the highest part of the rim! It was crazy windy but we got some pretty incredible shots!

After these beautiful shots we went back to the cabin for a pasta dinner and some wine! We got comfy and took some super cute pictures and goofy boom-a-rangs that I'll for sure keep and cherish for the rest of my life.

After dinner we had smores and girl talk and enjoyed our last night in the beautiful chilly weather. As we said our goodbyes to this sweet cabin we all decided that we definitely have to come back and plan another trip up here. I have to say a huge thank you to these incredible women in my life and say thank you to Tara for bringing us all together to spend this weekend together. I feel so blessed to call all these beautiful ladies my friends and I can't wait for our next trip!!

May 26th, 2018. This was the day that he became my whole world. I am so, so thankful for this past year full of ups and downs and love. Every relationship is rough and bumpy but it’s the ones who stick around and fight through those times that make a love so sweet and worth it. In this past year, we spent together we have done so much. All the lazy days/nights, all the late nights movie marathons, photoshoots I made you set through, and playing with all the nieces and nephews. I wouldn’t change one second of it. 

​I honestly can’t believe that it has been a whole year together already. That is honestly so crazy to me, how quickly it came. Although, it seems like it went by so fast I feel like him and I have known each other forever. It has been such an amazing adventure. Knowing that I have him to support me and walk by my side every day is the best feeling ever. Like I’ve been searching for something and I finally found it. I thank God every day for this wonderful man in my life. He definitely sent me a good one.

Of course, I have to shoutout my most favorite and most talented photographer that I know, Tara Tingey, of Tara T Photography. Tara and I have been friends for a little over a year now, and I am so thankful to have such a talented friend who captures me and my love in such a intimate and genuine way. I feel so truly blessed to have her as a friend and a forever photographer. I trust this woman with my life, and I love the fact that I never have to worry about feeling awkward or goofy in front of the camera because she just knows every single one of my best angles. 

the first thing that hooked me on Tara's photography was the fact that she shoots so bright and airy and my own personal style of photography is very similar. Her style and editing is everything I hope that my own could be. I aspire to be as talented as she is. Her passion for her work is something that I hope I can portray in my own work. I am truly truly thankful to Tara for these gifts that I get to cherish for the rest of my life.
