update: Keto Diet
Hey ya'll! i hope you are all having a wonderful week! thank God it's Friday!! I went up to my family's cabin last weekend and oh my goodness, it was so hot outside, not realizing that it was going to be as warm as it was because the weather forecast said 20-30% chance of rain so i assumed it was going to be a bit cooler than here in the valley, oh was i seriously wrong. On the plus side of things, it was nice to get out of the valley and enjoy the woods a little bit.
As far as my update on my keto diet, it has been officially one whole week since i have started this diet, I have lost 2.4 pounds, which is better than nothing in my book. I cheated a little on Saturday and had a single scoop of ice cream, but on the plus side of not having much sugar the past week the ice cream was actually not that great, I'm kind of glad that it didnt taste all that great because that will help me in the long run with my cravings because im going to remember that it wasnt that good the last time i ate it.
I am just about to finish up my 2nd week on keto, im super excited for my weigh in on monday because i have already noticed a difference in my stomach, I don't have as much bloat and I don't feel as tired and heavy! so we will keep our fingers crossed for weigh-in day!
My goals for this diet is to get back to my goal weight I first got to when I went a super strict diet about a year and a half ago. I was 120 lbs and I felt so amazing and so much more confident in my body! I can't wait! I'm just so excited to get back to it! I've been going to the gym 5 days a week and having my rest days over the weekend, however I try to stay as active as i can. I hope to continue to see results and be able to share with you!!
